Portfolio Manager
Roy was born in Cork in the sunny south of Ireland. His first job was working in bespoke menswear, where he developed his instinctive feel for customer service. He decided to go back to College in 2019 to receive a real estate license before pivoting into the world of whisky investment. As a Portfolio Manager at Braeburn, Roy is passionate about finding the right cask for the right client, helping to build tailor-made portfolios that deliver results across the spectrum of client expectations. His hobbies include fine clothing, food, whisky and wines and whenever he gets chance to go for a swim in the sea, no matter how cold it is, he goes for it.
His favourite Scotch Whisky is a Glenrothes 18 YO matured only in Sherry seasoned oak casks, bottled at natural colour with sweet vanilla, pear and fresh ginger character.
