His mission at Braeburn Whisky is to provide expert research and advice to help clients explore investment-grade casks. After a number of years in sales he moved into the financial industry as an Associate Wealth manager for one of the world’s biggest IFAs. After getting a number of exams around financial advice under his belt, Jakob found his calling: spreading the potential of whisky cask investment far and wide. His careful appreciation of the financial markets is matched by his discerning whisky pallet. He prefers a Caol Ila 12, because it has just the right balance of flavours, and isn’t too smoky or peaty.
