Laphroaig 2004

Hogshead cask that has matured 14 years after being distilled in 2004. The cask contains approximately 298 bottles of liquid at cask strength of 55.10%. 

Never one to do things subtley, Laphroaig is brash, peaty and uncompromising in the sheer size of its flavour. The initial aggression of youth is already past, but this slightly mellowed cask still contains a whisky that is memorably Islay all the way.
