After a long silence, Bladnoch has been brought out of retirement to bring whisky distilling back to the Lowlands of Scotland. This cask of 28 years maturity is from a previous chapter in the distillery’s life, part of a rapidly diminishing stock of older casks that weathered the silent years. A beautiful, grassy reminder of the older Lowland style, this is an exquisite cask indeed.
