Ben Nevis make wonderfully balanced whisky in the shadow of Scotland’s tallest mountain. Insisting on using a part of brewer’s yeast in a slow fermentation, Ben Nevis is at the front of the trend for introducing complex flavours. Much of Ben Nevis’ whisky is sent to Japan, and older stocks are rare. A 22 year old cask is already very well aged, but Ben Nevis has shown its excellence all the way up to 40 years old.
